Save the date for a night to drop off supplies, meet your teacher, and enjoy some Kona Ice on the playground with our Central PTO! This event will take place on Monday, August 8, from 3:00-5:00. Kona Ice will be available on the playground from 3:00-3:45.

Your child has worked very hard this year! We want to keep the momentum going and encourage a summer of reading. Try to read something everyday, whether it is a book, a menu, or a comic. Every word counts. We’ve attached attached a READO (Bingo) sheet and the Valparaiso Public Library’s Calendar of Children’s Activities so your child can immerse himself/herself in reading. If your child returns the READO sheet and Public Library’s summer
BINGO sheet in August, they will receive a prize. Additionally, any student who brings their library card to school to show us that they have gotten one will get an additional prize!

Due to a sustained power outage, BF will be closed today, Friday May 24, 2019. Students currently on buses to BF will be returning home.

Central Elementary is on a 2-hour delay, we will keep you informed if conditions change.

All other elementary schools are scheduled to open on time, however buses may be running behind schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
